GIVING BACK
FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE OF MICHIGAN
We did it in 2020 and again in 2021 raising over $3000.00 from. our team efforts. Even in the COVID 19 storm, so many Michiganders are participating in the #Walk4friendship event, who’s this year’s slogan “Apart but still together” is accurate. Here is how you can help take the fight to the finish.

ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION
Smash Hit Kickboxing Club is proud to sponsor the Arthritis Foundation's 2017 Walk to Cure Arthritis at the Detroit Zoo on May 13. We're helping more than 50 million Americans and 300,000 children with arthritis live better today and to keep the foundation’s promise of finding a cure for tomorrow. Our team – SMASH HIT BOD SQUAD – was formed to support our members, our staff, and the community who work hard to be healthy and strong, despite the challenges of arthritis. You are welcome to join our team and help the arthritis community, too. The Walk to Cure Arthritis a great, family-friendly event featuring a Kid Zone, massages, and a Zumbabox dance party, which will be taught by Kora, Smash Hit enthusiastic instructor.
To gear up for the Walk, we held a kickbox-a-thon fundraising event on Sunday, April 30, 2017, from 9 a.m. to noon. Three hours of fun classes for a $10 donation featured kickboxing (kick and punch on heavy bags), Smash Fit (flexibility, Tabata boxing, intervals and footwork) and Zumbabox (combines kickboxing and dance with Latin rhythms) - each geared toward all fitness levels and abilities, including beginners. Including online donations, the kickbox-a-thon raised $400 for the Arthritis Foundation.

ST. JUDE'S CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL
With your support, our kickbox-a-thon raised $4,600 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital! We are so proud to support this miraculous organization, and so grateful for every penny donated. Since its opening more than 50 years ago, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has changed the way the world treats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. No family ever pays for the care their child receives and, for every child treated there, thousands more have been saved worldwide through St. Jude discoveries.
